  • New teacher Performance Appraisal model is about teacher growth
    • 6 domains
    • 18 total standards
  • Have walk throughs in classrooms…
    • Minimum of 5 per semester
    • Record in palm pilot and then download in office
    • Something like a 5 minute walk through
    • Not a real good tool if a teacher is having difficulties
  • One of the teachers goals has to be about data and student achievement
  • Had lots of data that needed to get to staff in a useable way

    • Talked about their implementation of it
  • Appeared to roll out more aggressively than we did
